Its probably no surprise that our most visited page is the portfolio page.  We track a large percentage of our users straight from the home page to the portfolio page.  This is no surprise to us, because this is the most important tangible element to nearly every prospective client we interact with. 

 

Good design is important, but whats important to note is that unlike most designers whose websites begin to look much alike, we have a very wide range of work due to a very well rounded design team.  We have yet to take on a client (and as of this writing we are at our 80th) and not be able to deliver the precise web design they were looking for.  Its something we strive hard to achieve, and it sets us apart from other web design firms.

 

How do we accomplish this?  From our 15 years of experience, we have really developed a great respect for the science of design in general.  We start with a survey clients fill out asking them all sorts of design questions.  Then we progress to an interactive interview of websites they like and do not like.  From there we move into the conceptual phase and create a mockup of their potential website design.  After approval we incorporate the design into the website structure and finish the structural and operational elements of the site.  This is the Web Development process. 

 

If there are two words we would use to describe our web design and development process they are relevance and usability.  If your users do not find the site relevant they will likely not stay or come back.  The other thing to make your message get across is usability.  If users don't find the site easy to access, navigate and locate then you have put another barrier to them getting your message. 

 

The process begins with understanding who your audience is.  Once we understand who the message is for, and what your message and goals are, then we will begin to optimize the plans for relevance.
